Good Afternoon

Kourageous Outdoor Kids, Inc., a Dublin-Laurens County based 501 (c) (3) non-profit, is a Christian based organization ran solely by volunteers focused on taking children with cancer, and other life altering illnesses on hunting and fishing trips of their dreams. These children become our family and are able to participate in experiences until they turn 18. But it doesn’t stop there, kids have the opportunity to become part of the organization in a volunteer/ guide/mentor capacity at this time. Not only does the affected child get to experience the great outdoors, so do their siblings, 18 years old and younger.  While the children hunt, the parents are able to catch up on rest and quiet time knowing they are in a safe, loving environment. Parents also have the opportunity to converse with other families that have similar circumstances.

We have an annual group turkey hunt in March and group deer hunt in November for all of the KOK kids/families. We also do smaller group hunts and individual hunts. Examples of other hunts offered include bear, hog, duck, pheasant, quail and fishing trips.

For our organization to provide all expense paid outdoor adventures to these amazing kids and families we depend on the financial support from individual donors and business partners. All monetary donations are used to fund these adventures. KOK provides lodging, meals, travel, license/permits, and taxidermy for the hunt. We can also use donations of hunting and fishing supplies; anything is greatly appreciated.
